The question
Carizma is a barbershop in Lokeren that wants to be more than "popping to the barber". People come for the craft, the service and the calm that goes with it.
That feeling had to be on the site. At the same time everything had to be findable: which services, what it costs, when they are open, and how to book. And it had to score locally, because a barbershop lives off its neighbourhood.
What I did
Dark with gold accents, fitting a modern barbershop. The interior right at the top, so you see where you are walking into.
Then the prices, written out in full: men's cuts, beard shaves, beard shaping and trimming, children's cuts, hair washing, waxing and facials. No "from" prices, no surprises.
Beyond that, a section on what Carizma stands for, the opening hours with a live counter saying whether they are open or closed, a gallery of results, and customer reviews. At the bottom the route, the number and Instagram.
On a phone there is a fixed bar along the bottom with two buttons: call and book. Because that is what you came to your phone for.
What it delivered
A fast site that works on any device. Prices, hours and contact are there at a glance, you see immediately whether the shop is open, and calling or booking is one tap.
The local positioning around Lokeren runs consistently through the whole site.
