Online stores & e-commerce
Selling online without being locked into an expensive platform
The problem: A store that is expensive to maintain, slow, and never lets you do quite what you want.
Selling through a closed platform looks simple until you want to grow. Every extra feature costs a subscription, your data is locked in, and bit by bit your margin goes to someone else.
I build a store that sits on your server, with a product structure that fits your range and payments through Mollie or Stripe. You manage products and stock yourself; I keep the store fast, secure and findable.
I did that for Apollo Watch Company, among others, who wanted off Shopify and wanted to own their store rather than rent it.
What you get out of it
How it works
- 1 Mapping out the range, variants and filters
- 2 Building the store on your own server
- 3 Setting up payments, shipping and VAT
- 4 Findability of product and category pages
- 5 Teaching your team to work with the admin
Who this is for
- Retailers wanting to start selling online
- Stores wanting out of monthly fees and limitations
- Companies with a range that needs its own rules
Questions about this
How many products can I have?
There is no limit. The price depends on how much structure your range needs: variants, sizes, filters and exceptions.
Which payment methods can I offer?
Anything Mollie or Stripe supports: Bancontact, cards, iDEAL, bank transfer and paying in instalments. I set it up together with you.
Can my accountant get at it?
Yes. A link to your accounting package or an export per period is possible, so invoices do not have to be keyed in by hand.
Am I stuck with you afterwards?
No. The store sits on your own hosting and runs on WooCommerce, so any developer can pick it up.
